Our Lady of Fatima Academy Education USA Outreach

With the assistance of another group of Education USA student volunteers I conducted an outreach orientation seminar last March 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Academy.   Our group was warmly welcomed by Ms Radela Suscano(in green uniform), the guidance councilor of Our Lady of Fatima Academy (OLFA).The student volunteers are fourth year International Studies students majoring in American Studies namely (from left to right): Kaye Anjeli J. Regalado,  Shiela Mae M. Mendoza and Xyra Louelle F. Arsenio.
The audience was composed of the fourth year high school students from three sections of the said school. Opportunity Grant brochures and application forms were handed out to the students before the start of the presentation.
The program started at 8 am and lasted for almost two hours. During the Q & A, the students raised a number of questions regarding the Opportunity Grant. There was one student who also shared her experience when she had the opportunity to visit her father in New York.

  1. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often. I want to share news about college which is offers beyond-the- classroom experience to students in the rapidly-expanding industries of Health Care, Criminal Justice, Business, and Computers. Don't miss out on great career opportunities.
